External manufacturing
With the use of the WinLine FFG module you expand your functionalities in the WinLine PPS system by the possibility of external production
In external production, you can place production orders generally or externally as required. This possibility can be important if, for example, the internal resources are insufficient to execute a customer order on time. Or if certain types of production cannot be carried out in-house (e.g. finishing) and therefore specialists have to be called in to implement these specific requirements.
In the WinLine FFG module, the external manufacturer is viewed as a separate storage location and managed as such in the program. In this way, you can see exactly which material has to be delivered at which point in time in order to enable the external manufacturer to produce the ordered parts on schedule.
The required delivery documents are also issued, with the work slip serving as a production order in this case. You plan transport times for the outward and return journey of the goods using time-controlled activities so that these are also taken into account for the production process.
